BRIEF CITATION OF HON JUSTICE SIKA HENRY APRIOKU, JP, KSC Hon Justice Sika Henry Aprioku, was born on 11th day of July, 1960, to a renowned teacher and petty trader. He attended, St. Steven, U.N.A School, Ogoloma-Okrika from 1966-1972 for his primary education. Okrika Grammar School, 1973-1977.
Rivers State School of Basic Studies, Port Harcourt. Federal School of Arts and Science, Mubi, Gongola State. University of Jos, 1981- 1985, graduated in Law and attended the Nigerian Law School and called to the Bar in October,1986. A private Legal Practitioner, after national youth service at Abuja.
Appointed and sworn in as a Judge of the Rivers State High Court on 19th January, 2005. Served as a member of the Rivers State Elections Petition Tribunal in 2004. Member of the Rivers State Elections Appeals Tribunal in 2008. Chairman, National and State Assembly Elections, Ebonyi State in 2019. Chairman, National and State Assembly Elections, Abia State in January 2020. Hon Justice Sika Henry Aprioku, is a Christian, once the Registrar of Niger Delta Diocese and since December 2003, was installed Chancellor of Diocese of Okrika.
He is married to Dame Bapakaye Aprioku and blessed with two daughters namely, Rhoda and Orabelema and a Son, Sotonye. He is presently a grandfather of two sons. His hobbies include sports with bias for football and athletics; classical music and reading.
