HON. JUSTICE CHINWE AMANDA NSIRIM

BRIEF PROFILE OF CHINWE AMANDA NSIRIM, JUDGE OF THE HIGH COURT OF RIVERS STATE.

 

Born on the 29th of April into the family of Chief Ndamzi Nsirim (JP) and Late Mrs Nkechi Nsirim of Rumueme Community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Chinwe holds a degree in Law, LL.B in the year 2007, then Bachelor of Law, B.L in 2008 from the Nigerian Law School, Abuja. Then obtained NYSC in July 2009, upon the completion of her National Assignment in the Ministry of Justice, Rivers State as State Counsel in the Department of Public Prosecutions.

Chinwe obtained an LL.M in Petroleum Law and Policy from the University of Dundee, Dundee, Scotland, United Kingdom in June 2012.

Employed in the Rivers State Judiciary as a Legal/Research Assistant on the 1st of August 2012.

Sworn in as a Chief Magistrate Grade II on the 24th of May 2019 in the Rivers State Magistracy.

On the 24th December 2021, Chinwe was sworn in as a Judge of the High Court of Rivers State by the then Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Chief Barr Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, GSSRS, POS Africa, Life Bencher; on the recommendation of the National Judicial Council.

Chinwe has attended several conferences, seminars and workshops within her Job sphere.

She is a devoted Christian, disciplined and a focused believer in the attainment of Godly values, ethics, Justice, peace, unity and a stable society.

Chinwe is a committed family woman, who is married to Engr Chinweuba Nwosu, who hails from Obi Ngwa Local Government Area in Abia State, they are blessed with two lovely children.
