PROFILE OF CHINELO CHIDUBEM ODILI, JUDGE OF THE HIGH COURT OF RIVERS STATE.

Chinelo was born on the 31st of March 1981 to Dr Peter Otunuya Odili and Justice Mary Ukaego Peter-Odili JSC (Rtd). She hails from Ndoni in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area in Rivers State.
She obtained her LLB (Law degree) in 2007 from London Metropolitan University, United Kingdom. She went on to get her Bachelor of Law (B.L) from the Nigerian Law School in 2008.
Chinelo obtained her NYSC thereafter upon completion of her national assignment at the SAN department of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Chinelo has a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the University of London. She also has a diploma in Psychology.

Her work experience spans:
•Legal counsel in the law firm of Chris Uche SAN & co (2009-2012)
•Legal assistant to Hon Justice Mary Peter-Odili JSC CFR (Rtd) (2012-2015)
•Senior Registrar at the FCT High Court (2015-2019) serving under Hon Justice Salisu Garba CJ (Rtd) now the Administrator of the National Judicial Institute.
•Appointed Chief Magistrate Grade II in the Rivers State judiciary on 24th May, 2019
•Appointed Judge of the High Court of Rivers State on 24th December, 2021.

Chinelo is a member of the Chartered Institute of Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). She is also a member of FIDA.
She has participated in several conferences, seminars and workshops across the country.
Chinelo is a devout Christian and a devoted mother to 4 beautiful children. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, research and watching movies.
