Brief Introduction
Honourable Justice Ericonda Amadi is a native of Rumurolu Community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State of Nigeria and was born on the 26th day of September 1974 and the fourth child of a family of eleven.
Honourable Justice Ericonda Amadi completed his primary school education in 1985 at Oro-Evo Primary School, Rumurolu, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate(FSLC). He proceeded to Government Comprehensive Secondary School, Borokiri, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, for his secondary school education and finished in the year 1991.
Honourable Justice Ericonda Amadi attended Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria, and obtained his LL.B. in the year 2003 with SECOND CLASS(UPPER DIVISION) and was the Best Graduating Student of the Faculty of Law. He enrolled in the Nigerian Law School in the same year 2003 and was awarded B.L. with SECOND CLASS (UPPER DIVISION) and called to the Nigerian Bar in the year 2004.
He proceeded for the one year compulsory youth service(NYSC) in Kwara State and served in the Law Firm of Wole Olanipekun SAN & Co. and was discharged in the year 2005.
Honourable Justice Ericonda Amadi started his legal practice in the reputable Law Firm of OKOCHA & OKOCHA, Manuchim Chambers, where he spent a good number of years before leaving to establish KONDA, SOGIE & ASSOCIATES, where he acted as the Principal Partner until his appointment as a judge of the Rivers State Customary Court of Appeal.
Honourable Justice Ericonda Amadi was sworn in as a Judge on 7th January, 2020, by His Excellency, the then Executive Governor of Rivers State, Chief(Barr.) Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, CON, GSSRS, POS(AFRICA).
Honourable Justice Ericonda Amadi is married to his beautiful and amiable wife, Barr. Vivian Nwawuolor Ericonda and with her had five(5) adorable children; Benedicta, David, Daniel, Benetta and Dunamis.
Honourable Justice Ericonda Amadi is an ardent lover of God and whose hobbies are reading, swimming and playing the game of football.
